Small dimensions

In this situation there should be a one color scheme or a slight difference to the shade of the walls/floor/fabrics. Furniture preferably one style which is a necessity.

A contrast is only allowable:

with objects.
with cushions
with a small piece of furniture.
or
with a small carpet.

Floor and carpet should follow a one color scheme. Lighting scheme should be peripheral whether it be spot lights/wall lights/table lamps.

It is not advisable to have a strong central light in a small space except in the dining room.
If we would like the space to have strong light then we install in a corner, a light with a halogen bulband dimmer so we can control it's intensity.
